Abstract

PURPOSE:To drive a motor with DC at high speed and with AC at low speed as a stepping motor by arranging a plurality of stator windings in different angular positions. CONSTITUTION:A motor comprises a single common rotor 1, the first, second and the third stators 2, 3, 4 and a control driving circuit 5 connected to these stators. The rotor 1 forms the same squirrel-cage rotor to that of an induction motor, and the rotor 1 provides grooves 7 with a predetermined angular space in an iron core, that is, rotor core 6, inserting conductors 8 into these grooves 7 and short-circuiting these conductors 8 by a short-circuit ring 9. The two or more stators 2, 3, 4 are formed in a manner wherein stator windings are arranged in every 120 deg. different angular positions.
