Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform superconductor structure with the excellent stability by providing a nonreducing film on the surface of an oxide superconductor containing preset elements A, B, and Cu with the preset ratio. CONSTITUTION:A superconductor film 11 made of oxide containing one kind A of Sc, Y, La elements (atomic number 57-71), one kind B of IIa group elements, and Cu with the mol ratio of 0.5<=(A+B)/Cu<=2.5 is provided on a substrate 21 and coated with nonreducing MnO2, CrO or Al2O3, Si3N4, AlN12. A material with the linear expansion coefficient 10<-6>/ deg.C is selected for the substrate. Monocrystal of MgO, Si, etc., and porcelain of alumina, MgO, etc., are used for the substrate. (100) face MgO, R face, C face or (a) face sapphire, (111), (110), (100) face spinel or (100) face TiSr or the like are used for the monocrystal substrate. Since the superconductor is formed into a thin film and coated with the nonreducing film according to this constitution, a uniform structure with the excellent stability can be obtained.
