Abstract
PURPOSE:To impart strength equal to that obtd. by lead patenting to a high carbon steel wire rod by austenitizing the rod and introducing it into hot water of 70 deg.C and above to draw the rod while keeping the temp. of the rod at 600 deg.C and above.
