The present invention relates to a caster unit in which a wheel is pivotally held at a location displaced to one side with respect to the axis of the wheel so as to be rotatable about a horizontal axis.

った。As shown in Fig. 4, conventional caster units are mounted on a support shaft (02) in a vertical position that is rotatably supported on a base material (01), and wheels (02) that are rotatable around a horizontal axis. The holding member (05) of the wheel (04) is fixed to the holding member (05) in such a way that the rotational horizontal axis of the wheel (04) is displaced to one side with respect to the same front axis of the support shaft (02). However, in this case, since the rotational horizontal axis of the wheel is eccentric with respect to the rotational axis of the support shaft, the direction of the wheel is quickly changed to follow the steering direction of the vehicle body. This is the original feature of casters that allows you to easily and smoothly change the direction of your vehicle when driving in one direction, such as moving forward! However, when changing the direction of movement of the vehicle body, such as when moving a vehicle body into a station in forward motion and leaving the station in reverse motion, the eccentricity of the wheel or an amount close to it may occur. The drawback was that the vehicle body swung around the ground contact point as a fulcrum. In particular, when the vehicle weight is large and the ground pressure (C wheel pressure) of the base axle is high, the pressure between the wheels and the road surface is high. ≠Low friction resistance Greater than the rotational resistance around the spindle in the vertical position,
As a result, the car body rotates around the support shaft, causing a shaking phenomenon, and as a result, if the car body hits the fixed part of the station, it may get crushed and cause IH damage. In the case of the type of self-propelled trolleys, the 11 vehicles deviated greatly from the guidance line due to swinging, and it was no longer possible to drive them on the self-steering type hill (which could even lead to a fall). There were drawbacks.

Although it is possible to ensure that the original function is exerted by causing the following disaster to occur, when changing the direction of travel, the special number
(The C1 holding part H moves linearly VC along the guide member to a position where the rotational horizontal axis of the C1 wheel is displaced rearward in the direction of vehicle movement with respect to the rotational axis of the support shaft. The V-Star 1 is smooth to 1μ! Since the IC is switched, the vehicle body does not swing left and right like in the past, or the swing can be minimized as much as possible. A VC has been developed which allows the direction of travel to be changed accurately and safely without causing the above-mentioned drawbacks due to swinging.

Since the bogie (13) does not swing to the left or right when starting, and the amount of swing of the bogie (B1) can be made as small as possible, there is no possibility that the bogie (B1) will collide with the station or hit the towpath wire. This makes it possible to effectively prevent the pickup coil from being misaligned to a large extent.
