Claims

In a piston-type fluid machine in which a piston reciprocates within a cylinder of a cylinder barrel, the valve plate side sliding surface of the cylinder barrel having an intake and discharge port is formed into an eccentric spherical surface that follows a curved line centered on a point eccentric from the center of rotation. A piston-type fluid machine characterized in that the cylinder barrel-side sliding surfaces of the valve plate are each formed into non-eccentric spherical surfaces that follow a curve drawn around the center of rotation, and the spherical surfaces are in contact with each other.
