Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は身体面からの電気信号を電極パッドを通して心
電図記録装置や脳波記録装置などの電気記録装置に伝え
る電極パッドに関するものである。
これらの物品において、電極と身体面との密着状態を保
持するために、バンド、粘着テープなどが使用されてい
たが電気的ノイズが多く発生するために、ペースト状の
導電性クリームが用いられるようになった。
該クリームの使用は、ノイズ解消には効果的であるが、
取扱い特に使用後の身体面又は電極面残留クリームの処
理が煩雑であるという問題がある。
近侍多孔性キャリヤ中にポリビニルアルコールを架橋又
はゲル化したヒドロゲルを浸透状態で保持した導電性ゲ
ルパッドと電極とを組み合せた電極パッドが提案されて
いるが、ヒドロゲルの凝集力が小さい(そのためにキャ
リヤがゲル保持体として使用されている)ために、使用
後身体面にヒドロゲルが残留付着するものである。
本考案の電極パッドは、身体面と電極との間に空隙が形
成されることなく全面的に密着すると共に安定した記録
が通電開好と共に得られ、しかも取扱いが至便である。
以下本考案の実例を図面を用いて具体的に説明する。
図面において、1はリード線、2は金属製電極、3は粘
着性架橋型含水ゲルパッドである。
該パッド3はポリアクリル酸及び/又はポリアクリル酸
塩例えばポリアクリル酸ナトリウム、ポリアクリル酸カ
リウム、ポリアクリル酸アンモニウムなどと、架橋成分
としてのトリグリシジルイソシアネート、ポリニジレン
ゲリコールジグリシジルエーテル、エチレングリコール
ジグリシジルエーテル、グリセリンジグリシジルエーテ
ル、グリセリントリグリシジルエーテルの如き分子中に
少なくとも2個のエポキシ基を有する化合物と水と、必
要に応じてグリセリン、プロピレングリコール、ポリプ
ロピレングリコール、エチレングリコール、ポリエチレ
ンクリコール、ジエチレングコール、トリエチレングリ
コールの如き多価アルコールを配合してなるものであっ
て、更にこれに電解物質、PH調整剤、可撓性付与剤の
如き配合物質を加えてなる粘着性架橋型含水ゲルは、身
体面に対する粘着性がより良好で、しかも電導性が良好
なので、特に好ましい電極パッドを得ることができる。
なお含水ゲル中の水は5〜95重量%の割合で含有させ
ることができ、水は電解物質例えば塩化ナトリウム、塩
化カリウムなどを溶解して良好な電解相を構成し、含水
ゲルに好ましい電導性を付与するものである。
本考案の電極パッドは、電極の身体面接触側にポリアク
リル酸及び/又はポリアクリル酸塩と水と分子中に少な
くとも2個のエポキシ基を有する化合物とから構成した
粘着性架橋型含水ゲルパッドを設けたから、電極と身体
面との間に空隙を形成することがなく確実に粘着するば
かりか、水を含有するから電解物質と相乗作用によって
電導性が良好であるという特徴を有する。
しかも分子中に2個のエポキシ基を有する化合物で架橋
したので架橋密度が高く凝集性にすぐれているので使用
後身体面にゲルの一部が残留することがないという実用
上天なる利点を有する。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 電極と、該電極に接続したポリアクリル酸及び/又はポ
    リアクリル酸塩と水と分子中に少なくとも2個のエポキ
    シ基を有する化合物とからなる粘着性架橋型含水ゲルパ
    ッドとからなる電極パッド。
