からはみ出している中間膜端部を切断除去し、次いでオ

った時と同じ状態になる。該状態で無端帯状刃物9の刃
先が板ガラスへの端面に対して斜交する状態で中間膜端
部Bに切込ませ、漸次斜交角度が小さくなる方向に移動
し、無端帯状刃物9の刃を有さない側部が板ガラスAの
端面に当接するまで切込む。次いで可動腕1をあらかじ
め設定された軌跡上を移動させ板ガラスAの周縁よりは
み出している中間膜端部Blを切断する。前記中間膜端
部Blの切断に際し板ガラスAの曲率半径が小さい端部
に対しては第2図に示すように無端帯状刃物9が変形し
常に板ガラスAの端面に無端帯状刃物9の側部を当接さ
せ板ガラスAの周縁よりはみ出している中間膜端部Bl

端部の切断装置を形成することにより次のような効果を

している中間膜端部を切断する装置において、前記切断
機構を連続して回転する無端帯状切断刃と、連続回転し
て中間膜のはみ出し部に一定方向の力を付与する回転プ
ランロールと、該回転ブラシロールにより生じる中間膜
のはみ出し部の動きを抑制するガイドプレートとで構成
せしめたことを特徴とする板ガラス間に挾持された中間
