The end of the roof bow 02 extending in the width direction of the vehicle body is attached to the inner overlapping part of the roof rail by spot welding 05, and the central longitudinal groove 07 of the roof bow 02 is filled with adhesive 04. Install the roof panel 01 through the roof rail 04, and install the roof rail inner rain gutter part 0.
3B was spot welded to form the vehicle body joint.

Although it can absorb accuracy errors in the lateral direction because it extends in the front-rear direction,
Accuracy errors in the vertical direction cannot be absorbed.

ものである。The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, and the roof bow body has a roof rail outer along the outer edge of the vehicle body at both ends of the roof bow body having grooves extending in the width direction of the vehicle body and oriented in the same direction. An outer flange is integrally molded from a single plate as an end member of the roof rail outer, and an outer flange is formed on the outer edge of the roof rail outer and extends substantially horizontally in the vehicle width direction and in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, and an outer flange is formed on the inner side end of the roof rail that extends toward the interior of the vehicle. A roof bow is formed with an inner flange that is bent diagonally downward to form an inclined inner flange, an end flange extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body corresponding to the outer flange of the roof rail outer is formed at the outer edge end, and the groove portion is formed in the roof bow body portion. The roof panel is bonded with an adhesive filled with the roof panel, and the outer end thereof is spot-welded to the roof rail outer and the flanges at the outer edge of the roof panel to form a rain gutter portion extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body. A vehicle body connection structure for a roof rail portion of an automobile, characterized in that the roof rail inner has an inner end formed with an inner flange that is tilted in the same direction as the roof rail outer inner flange, overlapped, and spot welded. The roof rail outer is integrally molded as an end member on both ends of a conventional roof bow extending in the width direction of the vehicle body, and the overlapping portion of the roof rail outer and the roof rail inner mating thereto at the end on the inside of the vehicle interior is formed. In particular, the overlapping portion is formed by a flange that slopes downwardly toward the inside of the vehicle, thereby absorbing variations in the vertical direction during assembly.

Since I bent it diagonally downward at the same angle, I attached the roof rail inner 3 to the roof rail outer 2''.
When the two flanges 2a and 3a are joined together, the overlapping portions of the flanges 2a and 3a are relatively displaced to absorb accuracy errors in the vertical direction of the vehicle body and prevent undue stress from acting on the roof bow body 2' and the roof panel 1.
