Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the operation for attaching and detaching a cassette and to prevent moisture absorption of paper by engaging an opening and closing cover with a copying machine body so that the cover is slided to open and close at the time of attaching and detaching the cassette to eliminate the troublesome opening and closing operation for the cassette cover in a paper feeder. CONSTITUTION:A paper feed cassette 7 comprises a cassette body 7a and a cassette cover 10 disposed thereon. A shutter member 10a is mounted on the front portion of the cassette cover 10.
