Abstract

PURPOSE:To make improvements in both of machinability and operatability for assembling, by coupling a plate part and a boss part of a hub together in making them take a loose angle in between through spline connection, while installing a spring member in position between both plate and boss parts as well as in the plate part and a pair of drive plates each. CONSTITUTION:Both plates 5 and 6 are relatively and rotatably coupled together in an elastic manner through a spring member 2 of an elastic material 7, and one side plate 5 is engaged with a plate part 1a while the other side plate 6 is engaged with a boss part 1b. As for a spring member 12 acting on at the second stage, such a coil spring as being larger in a spring constant than that in case of the spring member 2 acting on at the first stage is used. When engine torque is transmitted to where it should be, one side plate 3' tries to rotate together with the other side plate 3, thereby compressing these spring members 2 and 12 in regular order, and consequently at the first stage, both the plate part 1a and the boss part 1b are relatively rotated as far as a loose angle, then the spring member 12 is compressed and vibration damping action at both the first and second stages thus takes place.
