本発明は排気弁が油圧駆動であるディーゼル機関におい
て排気弁の開弁時期調整の装置に関するものである。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a device for adjusting the opening timing of an exhaust valve in a diesel engine in which the exhaust valve is hydraulically driven.
船舶においてはその要求される運行スケジュールから減
速運転、すなわち主機関の部分負荷運転をしなければな
らぬ場合が少なくない。このような場合部分負荷運転に
よる熱効率の低下をなるべく少なくする手段の一つにデ
ィーゼル船においてはその主機関の排気弁の開弁時期を
遅らせることがある。つまり定格運転時よりは爆発ガス
の膨張期間を長くすることで、これにより爆発ガスは主
機関ピストンに充分なエネルギーを与え排気ガスへのエ
ネルギー逸失をなるべく少なくする。この開弁時期の遅
らせはシリンダ圧の高くない部分負荷では排気圧と掃気
圧とのバランスからしてきめられるものであるが、従来
はその実現手段が複雑になることから余り実施されてい
なかった。本発明は開弁時期の調整の容易な装置を提供
して部分負荷におけるディーゼル主機関の熱効率を高め
