In particular, large rotating electric machines such as water turbine generators and turbine generators are required to have stator cores with good lamination surfaces, no corrugations, and good lamination workability. Usually, these laminated cores are provided with several radial ventilation ducts in the axial direction to cool the windings and the core. Conventionally, this radial ventilation duct was made of stamped steel plate! It is formed by laminating duct pieces in the shape of a U-shape, a square bar, etc., fixed by spot welding or arc welding, at a desired interval. The duct width is usually 10 to 13 square meters, and the pitch is 60 to 70 square meters.

In other words, since the duct piece is welded to the punched steel plate, the heat causes the punched copper plate to wave and deform, making the laminated iron core less tight (causing vibration and interlayer short circuits). To remove welding spatter. It takes a lot of finishing time and is difficult to completely remove.Furthermore, the remaining spatter may destroy the interlayer insulation of the iron core and cause an interlayer short circuit.

あった。In addition, in order to improve the cooling efficiency of rotating electric machines, the duct length is 4 to 8 m, and the pitch is 30 to 49 ss, which increases the number of ducts compared to conventional ones. The number of duct pieces welded to the punched steel plate increases dramatically. As a result, the working time increases and working efficiency deteriorates, and the inside of the duct becomes narrow due to the undulating deformation, making it impossible to obtain the desired cooling effect.

The figure is a plan view showing a portion of a punched steel plate for ventilation ducts of the stator core. Slots 2 for accommodating winding wires are provided on the inner peripheral side of this punched steel @1 at equal intervals in the same direction a. A protrusion 4 having a cylindrical shape with a flat top is formed on the back of the tooth 3 and the slot 2. This protrusion 4 is formed by cold working using a drawing machine and a commonly used drawing press. Appropriate positions for the projections 4 are selected depending on the size of the steel plate, but 18

The reference numeral 6 is the basic punched steel plate used for parts other than the duct part. The iron core is manufactured by the same process as the conventional method, in which the punched steel plates 5 are stacked and punched steel plates 1 for ventilation ducts are interposed at a desired pitch to form the ventilation duct 6.

If the tightening pressure is to be increased, the strength of the protrusion 4 will be increased by filling the inside of the protrusion 4 with heat-resistant resin or low-distance metal such as aluminum material, so that the protrusion 4 can withstand the pressure sufficiently. I can do it.

The laminated iron core of the rotating electric machine configured as described above has the protrusion 4 formed by drawing on the punched steel plate 1 to form the radial ventilation duct 6, so welding of the duct piece, which had been done using conventional techniques, is unnecessary. This eliminates the work and eliminates all the drawbacks associated with welding. The most beneficial thing is that the waving of the punched steel plate l due to welding heat is eliminated, and a well-tight laminated core with well-aligned laminated surfaces can be obtained.
