Conventionally, an outdoor unit in this type of air conditioner has a heat exchanger, a fan, a fan motor, a compressor, etc. covered with an exterior to form a unit. This structure is suitable for transportation and installation of the outdoor unit because the unit is a single unit, but it may not be suitable due to the aesthetic appearance of the house after installation or because it occupies the ground.

In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a cloth foundation for a house, on which a foundation 2 is fixed, and the house is made up of outer walls 3, a ceiling 4, a floor 5, etc. 6 indicates the outdoor ground, and 7 indicates the space under the floor of a house. An indoor unit 8 having a well-known structure is installed inside the house, and a compressor 9 constituting a well-known refrigeration cycle is installed in the underfloor space 7.

Furthermore, a condenser 1° for outdoor heat radiation, which constitutes a well-known refrigeration cycle together with the indoor unit 8 and compressor 9,
It is attached by appropriate means including external wall fittings. Here, the indoor unit 8, the compressor 3 page 9, and the condenser 10 are connected to each other by refrigerant piping to form a well-known refrigeration cycle. 11 is the condenser 1

The opening 12 extends close to the eaves 13. Therefore, infiltration of rainwater etc. is prevented. Also this cover 11
The lower part of the base is connected to an opening 14 provided in the cloth foundation 1.

In the above configuration, the refrigerant discharged from the indoor unit 8 during the cooling operation of the air conditioner is compressed by the compressor 9 and reaches the condenser 1o, where heat is radiated. The condenser 1° is connected to the outer wall 3 as mentioned above.
and the cover 11, and the condenser 1o
As the temperature rises, the air in that space heats up and becomes an upward air current.

As a result, the air in the underfloor space 7 is removed from the opening 1 in the lower foundation.
4 to the upper opening 12, and as the temperature of the condenser 1° increases, this phenomenon is amplified and the cooling effect of the condenser is improved. Note that since the temperature of the air in the underfloor space 7 is lower than that of outside air, the efficiency is better than direct cooling with outside air. Further, the compressor 9 provided in the underfloor space 7 is covered with a soundproofing material 16 and raised to prevent noise.

Therefore, an air blower is not used to cool the outdoor condenser 10, and the rising airflow of heat generated from the condenser 10 is used, and the chimney effect of the space formed by the cover 11 and the outer wall 3 is also used. , the condenser 1o can be cooled with the air in the underfloor space 7, which is lower than the outside air, resulting in good cooling efficiency, and since the compressor 9, etc. is installed using the underfloor space 7, the beauty of the outdoor side of the house is maintained. Moreover, since it does not use a blower, it is quiet because there is no source of noise, and it also saves resources because it does not use functional parts such as a blower.

As is clear from the above embodiments, the air conditioner of the present invention has a compressor that constitutes a refrigeration cycle installed under the floor of a house, and an outdoor heat exchanger that constitutes the refrigeration cycle together with the compressor. The compressor is attached to the outer wall of the house, and the compressor is covered with a box body equipped with a soundproofing material inside, and a cover is provided on the outer wall to cover the outdoor heat exchanger, and the upper end of this cover (page 6) is opened. The lower end of the cover is connected to an opening in the fabric foundation of the house to form a ventilation path inside the cover, which uses the rising airflow of warm air generated by the heat exchanger on the outdoor side to draw air from outside air. Since the outdoor heat exchanger is cooled using the low-temperature air under the floor, heat exchange efficiency is high, and natural convection is used to discharge the cooling air, eliminating the need for blowers and providing quiet air conditioning. In addition, since the compressor is installed under the floor and the outdoor heat exchanger is attached to the outside wall of the house, wasted space can be used effectively, and the installation area is extremely small. It has various advantages, such as less vibration and noise being transmitted to the outside by the box equipped with soundproofing material, and quieter air conditioning can be performed.
