Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a waterdrop preventing agent capable of being uniformly coated on an agricultural film or the like and preventing a waterdrop from adhering to a surface thereof for a long period of time, by dispersing an inorg. colloid, a surfactant and lithium silicate or a silane derivative in water or an alcohol.
CONSTITUTION: 0.1W60wt% (on the basis of a waterdrop preventing agent; the same applies hereinbelow) inorg. hydrophilic colloid substance (e.g.; colloidal silica), 0.1W60wt% surfactant (e.g.; a nonionic surfactant) and 0.01W10wt% lithium silicate and/or a silane derivative shown by the formula[wherein R1 is alkyl or aryl having at least one reactive group selected from an amino group, an epoxy (containing) group, a ureido group, an ammonium group and an ethylenic unsaturated group; R2, R3 are 1W3C alkyl, n is 1W3]are dispersed in water and/or an alcohol to obtain the titled waterdrop preventing agent.
EFFECT: Said waterdrop preventing agent can be coated without repellency phenomenon and does not show stickness after drying.
USE: It is used in preventing waterdrop adhesion to a synthetic resin film, a sheet, a plate and a glass product.
