Abstract
PURPOSE:To effectively prevent the malfunction of a microprocessor which is caused by reduction of the voltage supplied from a DC power supply, by stopping the operation of a constant voltage circuit in case the output voltage of the DC power supply becomes improper. CONSTITUTION:A constant voltage circuit 15 compensates the voltage fluctuation of a DC power supply 11 and supplies the constant voltage to a microprocessor 14; and a monitor circuit 16 detects whether the output voltage of the power supply 11 is higher than the reference level and proper or lower than the reference level and improper. In addition, a control circuit 17 gives the control so that the output of the circuit 15 is set under the inactive voltage of the processor 14 in case the output voltage of the power supply 11 which is detected by the circuit 16 is improper. As a result, the malfunction of the processor 14 that is caused by a reduction of the voltage supplied from a DC power supply can be completely prevented.
