Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a fuel containing reduced amount of fuel oil, by dispersing pulverized water-containing waste activated charcoal in fuel oil, and explosively burning the dispersion with oxygen gas blasted at the burning stage, thereby preventing the smoking and effectively utilizing the waste product.
CONSTITUTION: Water-containing waste activated charcoal used in the decoloration or purification, is pulverized and dispersed in a fuel oil, and sent to the injection nozzle through the supply pipe 6 and the fuel oil pipe 3. Separately, air is introduced through the inlet 7 and made to gyrate with the gyration blades 8 to form the mist of fuel oil. At the same time, oxygen gas introduced through the oxygen pipe 4 in the pipe 3 is blasted into the mist through the end of the oxygen pipe 4 slightly protruded from the end of the pipe 3. The powdery waste activated charcoal and high density fuel oil particles are burnt explosively by this process.
