Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent electrical shock accidents by a method wherein when the insulation of a sheath heater supported in an indented section formed between horizontal projections of an insulated support deteriorates, dewdrops formed on the heater, the projections and the indented part are forced to drip down to thereby bring the heater and an oven chamber to an electrically non-conductive condition with each other.
CONSTITUTION: The insulated support 1 supports the sheath heater 8 in a condition in which the heater 8 is kept out of contact with the bottom surface 5a of the oven chamber 5. The support 1 is made of a ceramic material and comprises a support post 1a, the projections 1b extending horizontally from the upper part of the support post 1a and the indented section 1c formed between the projections 1b so as to support the heater 8 within the indented section 1c. The dewdrops formed on the heater 8, the projections 1b and the indented section 1c drip down due to the displacement of the projections from the support post 1a so that the heater 8 does not become electrically conductive with the bottom surface 5a of the oven chamber due to the fallen dewdrops. Accordingly, even when the insulation of the heater deteriorates, no electrical shock accident takes place.
