Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formulaI[A is 2W4C alkylene; Y is di(lower alkyl)amino, piperidino, or group of formula II (B is H, halogen, lower alkyl, lower akoxy, or halogen-substituted lower alkyl)], and its non-toxic salt.
EXAMPLE: 5,6,7,8-Tetrahydro-6-)3-diethylaminopropyl)-1,6-naphthyridine.
USE: Antidinic. It has high selectivity to the dizziness caused by the peripheral labyrinth disorder.
PROCESS: The compound of formulaIis prepared either by condensing the sec-amine derivative of formula H-Y to the compound of formula III obtained by the reaction of 5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-1,6-naphthyridine with the compound of formula X1-A-X2 (X1 and X2 are halogen) or by condensing 5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-1,6-naphthyridine to the compound of formula X-A-Y.
