Abstract
PURPOSE:To remove an abnormal phenomenon such as the step-out of the synchronous motor by correcting an unstable condition due to the change of a loop gain of an automatic power-factor control system of a field current circuit owing to the change of load. CONSTITUTION:An active power detector 10 outputs value proportional to the active power of the synchronous motor 1, and the output is multiplied 12 by the deviation value of the output value of a power-factor detector 8 to the set value of a power-factor setter 6 through a function generator 11. Consequently, the amplification degree of the output of the multiplier 12 is varied by the magnitude of load. Accordingly, the amplification degree of the automatic control system is varied automatically by the quantity of the active power of the synchronous motor 1, and the unstable condition due to the change of the gain of an automatic power-factor control loop can be corrected.
