Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit constitution and to reduce power consumption, by using a DC amplifying transistor for a bias circuit. CONSTITUTION:A receiving signal and a local oscillation signal which are applied to a high frequency input terminal 1 are mixed by a mixer diode 2 and are converted to an intermediate frequency signal through a low-pass filter 3 and are taken out through a coupling capacitor 4 from an intermediate frequency output terminal 5. A choke coil 6 sets the anode terminal of the mixer diode 2 to the ground potential, and a negative bias voltage is supplied to the cathode terminal of the mixer diode 2 by a choke coil 7. The bias voltage applied to the mixer diode 2 is given from the emitter terminal of a transistor 8. A voltage measuring terminal 9 is connected to the collector terminal of the transistor 8, and the bias voltage is controlled by a variable resistor 10.
