Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to assist the sliding movement of a caliper in failure of sliding in such a way that a slide pin is slid through an externally rigged rigid sleeve into the caliper or a support opening port, and springs to give impetus in the brake disengageing direction are inserted between the pin and the sleeve.
CONSTITUTION: A support 1 which is extensibly installed from the body fixibg part supports friction pads 2, 3 on both side of a disc, and fixing plugs 5, 6 are inseted into an opening port 4 which is formed at the tip of an arm part. On another hand, a slide pin 8 whose both ends are fixedly assembled is integrated with a caliper 7 in which houses a pad thrust mechanism. Here, said pin 8 is assembled to be slidable through a rigid sleeve 9 to the plugs 5, 6. In addition, through the pin 8 and the sleeve 9 is also slidably installed, they are integrated so as not to generate relative sliding between the sleeve 9 and the caliper 7 by means of assmbling counter- sunk springs 10, 11 to give impetus of spring force in the axial direction.
