Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide for a large tilting stroke of a buffered door mirror, which is capable of buffering external forces applied to it, by using a compression spring as a spring for holding a mirror body biased toward the automobile body. CONSTITUTION:Compression springs 2 and 2' provided in a mirror body 1 supporting a mirror 1' normally hold the mirror body 1 biased toward the automobile body. The springs 2 and 2' are supported in holders 5 and 5', which are secured to the mirror body 1 via a bracket 6. The bracket 6 is rotatably coupled by bracket 4a and 4b to a base 3 mounted on the automobile body. The springs 2 and 2' are mounted on the brackets 4a and 4b via wire members 4c and 4b so that they bias the mirror body 1 in the direction of arrow C and urges it against the base 3.
