Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for starting to work, by storing a position control information before cutting off an electric power source, in a nonvolatile memory, and detecting an absolute position of a moving part such as a motor or a table, etc. CONSTITUTION:A present position of a table 12 driven by a DC motor 11 of a machine tool is detected by a position detector 13, a position signal FP corresponding to the present position is applied to reversible counters 14, 15, and is reversibly counted by the counters. Contents of the couters 14, 15 are always stored in a nonvolatile memory 16 at every prescribed very short item. If a moving part has moved by a very small distance when an electric power source has been cut off, a numerical value immediately before the electric power source has been cut off is set to a command counter 3 from the memory 16 when the electric power source is turned on again, and a command phase signal CPS corresponding to said numerical value is inputted to a phase comparator 9. Also, a phase signal DSP correspondin to a very small distance which has moved when the electric power source has been cut off, from a resolver 7 is waveform-shaped 8, is inputted to a comparator 9, and in the comparator 9, the motor 11 is rotated so that a phase difference of 2 signals becomes zero, and is stopped at a position immediately before cutting off the electric power source.
