Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the reading, by printing a bar code having the inverted lightness in correspondence to another bar code. CONSTITUTION:A bar code 1 plus a bar code 2 having the inverted lightness are printed simultaneously. In this case, the code 2 is printed at the lower part of the code 1. In such way, the storage can be eliminated for the level of lightness of the paper ground color. As a result, the constitution can be simplified for a reading circuit. Furthermore both the reading accuracy and the speed of operation can be increased.
