Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the installation work and as well as install with no destruction of the ground, to which foundation members contact, by a method wherein heat exchange pipes consisting of straight pipe members are installed underground by inserting said members respectively toward the direction of their pipe axis line into the ground.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of straight heat exchange pipes 6 are employed and installed by inserting the pipes respectively toward the direction of their pipe axis line into the ground. For example in an embodiment, a heat exchange pipe 6-1 is inserted into the ground normally thereto at the center of a lot and groups of heat exchange pipes 6-2 and 6-3 are inserted radially about the pipe 6-1 therearound.These heat exchange pipes 6 are suitably connected to a header 7 at their upper ends. The heat carrier from a heat exchanger 5 is flowed through the header 7 to the heat exchange pipes 6 and back to the header 7 to be returned to the heat exchanger 5 by means of a pump 8.
