Abstract
PURPOSE: To minimize an increasing flow rate caused by an increase of a motor's revolution speed in a forced ventilator or the like of a boiler when it fails to work by temporarly fixing an opening of a valve in response to an output of a valve opening setter to forcedly close the valve to its indicated degree.
CONSTITUTION: A valve opening setter 21 is a function generator which receives an input of a signal of a required flow rate setter 10 and outputs an opening of a valve 1 required for providing a preset flow rate when a pump 2 drives to a rating speed. When a motor revolution speed controller 5 fails to work, a power supply of a motor 3 is switched to a commercial power supply so that a revolution speed of the motor 3 increases. Once an output is switched from a valve opening controller 14 to the valve opening setter 21, the indicated valve opening value of a valve 1 is instantaneously reduced and the valve 1 is abruptly choked so that a flow rate may be prevented from increasing. That is, the moment a trouble occurs, an indication of closing the valve 1 is dispatched to forcedly choke it to a preset opening so that an increase of a flow rate caused by an increasing revolution speed of the motor may be inhibited to a minimum for stable flow control.
