Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct an air to fuel ratio at a high altitude and to make suitable the usage of fuel, by exerting a pressure of fuel delivered from a fuel pump with pressing to a fuel pressure control valve, spring and diaphragm and the like, and an atmospheric pressure to a control element. CONSTITUTION:Fuel delivered with pressing from a fuel pump enters a pressure regulating chamber 2 from an inlet pipe 1 and is supplied to an engine via an outlet pipe 3. A bellows 19 incorporating a spring under vacuum sealing is provided in a diaphragm case 18 linked with an atmospheric pressure through an atmospheric inlet hole 17. One end is fixed to a clamper 22, and another end is extended when the pressure decreases, to push a valve 8 via a pusher 20 and to detach it from a sheet 9, and the fuel flows from the pressure regulating chamber 2 to a low pressure chamber 11 to lower the fuel pressure of the outlet pipe 3. Thus, the pressure in the chamber 2 responds to the decrease in the atmospheric pressure, in addition to the regulation of information from a diaphragm 4 and a spring and signal pipe 16, allowing to correct the air to fuel ratio at a high altitude and to achieve a suitable fuel pressure adjusting value for fuel jet system of an internal combustion engine.
