Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent magnetic flux density to become small locally to reduce iron loss and to improve the characteristics of the stator when laminated iron plates are to be welded and fixed with each other by a method wherein welding parts are formed separatedly as the welded parts are not continued in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:When the prescribed pieces of laminated magnetic iron plates 1 are to be welded and fixed to form as a stator 3 integrated in one body, a laser beam 4 is irradiated to the laminated parts 6, and spotlike welded parts 7 are formed placing an optional interval between them and making the respective welded parts as not to be continued. The welded parts 7 may be formed regularly in a zigzag type or a minced type, or may be formed irregularly. Accordingly because effect of welding heat is not concentrated in a straight line, parts of small magnetic density are eliminated, iron loss is reduced and the characteristics of the stator can be enhanced.
