Abstract
PURPOSE: To effectively wash a filter cloth used in the dehydration of sludge modified with organic flocculant as an auxiliary agent, by washing a filter cloth of a dehydrator using alkaline detergent containing chelate agent of ferrous ion.
CONSTITUTION: As a detergent, 7W50wt% preferably 15W40wt% of chelate agent of ferrous ion is used. An alkali needs not always be specified; sodium hydroxide may be used, or potassium hydroxide is also acceptable, and its suitable concentration is 5W40wt%, but 10W30wt% is more preferable. The simplest method of washing is a coating with dilute liquid of the detergent by using a brush in the no- load running while stopping the feed of filter-cloth washing water. At this time, a detergent of 5W40wt%, preferably 10W30wt% in concentration is used, and a washing time is 10W240min, preferably 30W120min.
