Abstract

PURPOSE:To judge the propriety of a picture immediately and to take a picture again immediately according to the result of the judgement, by displaying on a monitoring device a picture recorded in connection with the pushing operation of a release button. CONSTITUTION:The video signal of an object is inputted to a terminal 21. When a recording/reproduction changeover button is at a recording mode side, a terminal (a) is at a level L and no signal arrives from a reproducing head to hold a terminal (g) at the level L. At this time a gate G1 is open and the video signal is displayed ona monitor 3 by passing through the gate G1. When a release button 19 is pushed, a control terminal (b) is held at a level H and a disk motor control circuit 25 operates to open gates G4 and G5; after the notch part of a disk is detected, a terminal (i) is held at the level L and recording is started. As the disk turns once, the reproducing head reproduces a signal and the terminals (i) and (g) are held at the level H to cloe the gate G1 while the gates G2 and G5 are opened, thereby displaying the reproduced signal from a reproducing circuit 24 on the monitor.
