Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce revolutions of an engine by the inertia by providing an electric circuit to allow a solenoid device to continue in enerigzed position with the aim of holding the speed control device in low position for a certain period of time after disconnection of the circuit for spark plugs of engine.
CONSTITUTION: This automatic speeddown device 5 is composed of an engine speed control device 13 and a stop control device 14. When a starter switch SW1 is turned to the C side and engine is stopped, the discharge current is supplied to a transistor Q from a capacitor C2 through resistors R6, R7, so that transistors Q3, Q4 continue to be in ON condition while the transistor Q5 is turned to OFF because the base current cancels it. Accordingly, base current is supplied to the transistor Q1 from battery B through transistor Q4, resistor R9 and diode D4, so that the transistor Q1 continues to be in ON condition for a period of time determined by the capacitor C2 and resistors R6, R7 after the engine is stopped. Consequently solenoid 12 continues to be energized for a certain period of time.
