Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure the extent of runout of a rotor exactly and also in a short time, by constituting so that a measured value of runout of a rotor is recorded automatically on the polar coordinate recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A measuring instrument 8 sends a pulse signal corresponding to runout in case when a rotor is rotated, to a displacement primary means 10. In accordance with movement of meter of the displacement primary means 10, a moving directional line 12C of a pen axis 12 of a recorder 12 is made to conform with zero point of polar coordinate recording paper. When the reference position is in coincidence with the measuring instrument by rotating the rotor, a remote control switch 9 is turned off. The pen axis 12 is moved along the directional line 12C through a control part 11 by an output of the displacement primary means 10. Since the recordng paper makes one rotation corresponding to one rotation of the rotor, runout of the rotor is recorded in the polar coordinates. In this way, the extent of runout of the rotor is measured exactly and also in a short time.
