Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive to miniaturize a DC high voltage generator by a method wherein structure of insulating transformers to be connected in series is made as to be consisted of only the primary winding and the secondary winding being wound around with the prescribed turn ratio, and high voltage windings are removed from the insulating transformers. CONSTITUTION:The plural insulating transformers 11 being insulated and separated between the primary winding and the secondary winding with a high voltage withstanding resin are connected in series, the primary sides of high voltage generating transformers 14 are connected between the respective windings, step-up rectifier circuits 15 are connected respectively to the secondary sides of the high voltage generating transformers 14, and outout terminals of the respective step-up rectifier circuits 15 are connected in series. Accordingly because the high voltage transformers 14 and the step-by rectifier circuits 15 having relatively low step-up ratios are adopted to generate DC high voltages at the respective steps, induction to be generated in the DC high voltage generating part by AC high voltage electric field is nearly eliminated, and induction ripples to be generated in the output terminal can be reduced broadly.
