Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent an inverter from an excess current as well as to use a power capacity of the inverter to the utmost by controlling a field current of a generator so that the output current or output voltage of the inverter goes down to a set point or less. CONSTITUTION:The output of a generator 2 directly linked to a motor 1 is supplied to a load 4 via an inverter 3. A voltage regulator 5 controls a field current of the generator 2 so that the output current of the inverter 3 detected by a load current detection means 6 does not exceed the allowable maximium load current of the inverter 3 set by a limit load current setting means 7. Through such a technology, a supply power of the inverter can be used to the utmost.
