Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the sound shielding property of the housing by providing an acoustic isolation part of a substantially casing shape, provided with a sound absorbing part at the inner part from the lid of a ventilating port and providing a permeating part in the sound shielding part to prevent ingress of sound from the ventilating port.
CONSTITUTION: A sound absrobing material 11 is extended at the inner side from a permeative lid 1a of a ventilating port 1 provided on a foundation 7, and on the inner surface of the side facing the under floor part 4. The above sound absorbing material 11 is covered with an acoustic isolation cover 12 formed in a substantially casing shape. A part of the cover 12 is fixed to the foundation 7 by means of a sealing material 13 and a fixing bolt 14, and a ventilating hole 15 for communicating the inside with the outside is provided. The above described cover 12 is formed so that surfaces in which external sound widely contacts the sound absorbing material 11 and passes therethrough, are obtained, and the position of the ventilating hole 15 is set so that infiltrating sound is bent at least once. By this procedure, ingress of external sound from the ventilating port can be prevented or reduced.
