Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance stability and reliability of a device by a method wherein a open-phase voltage detecting circuit having simple circuit constitution using a resistor, a full-wave rectifying circuit, step-down resistors, a capacitor, a comparator, is used. CONSTITUTION:When respective phases R, S, T of the device is normal, the wave- form of the voltage rectified in the full-wave rectifying circuit 1 has a little lipple components, the voltage of noncut part being DC component thereof cut by a voltage regulating element DZ charges the capacitor C through the resistor R3, and the voltage thereof is divided by the resistors R1, R2. Moreover the voltage of the capacitor C is divided by the resistors R4, R5. The voltage at both ends of the resistors R2, R5 are compared by the comparator 2. When the respective phases of the voltage is normal, no output is generated from the comparator 2, and a switching circuit 3 does not operate. While when open-phase is generated, the lipple components in the rectified wave-form of the full-wave rectifying circuit 1 increase, and a compared output is generated from the comparator 2. Accordingly the switching circuit 3 operates to inform open-phase by a relay RY.
