Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a heat sensitive recording head having rapid recording speed and preferable picture quality with long lifetime by providing laser light sources arranged in an array, and a plurality of lenses provided correspondingly to the sources for focusing the laser light on the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Semiconductor laser light sources 1 are aligned in an array shape, and microlenses 4 are formed corresponding to the sources 1 in an array shape on a glass substrate 3 having a curved surface. When the lights from the sources 1 pass through the microlenses 4, they refract in response to the curved surface of the substrate 3, thereby reducing the pitch of luminous converting point 7 with respect to the pitch of the sources 1.
