Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic material having superior AC magnetic characteristics at a high-frequency region by annealing an Fe-group amorphous magnetic material in the magnetic field in practically right angle direction to the exciting direction. CONSTITUTION:An Fe-group amorphous magnetic material indicated by composition formula is annealed while applying a magnetic field in practically right angle direction to the exciting direction. However, one kind or two or more kinds of 0<=x<=0.1, 0<=p<=10, 15<=q<=30, M;Co, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Zr, Nb, Mo and one kind or two or more kinds of M'; Si, B, C, Al, P, Ga, Ge, Sn, Bi are applied. The amorphous magnetic material of such a composition has high saturation magnetic flux density and resistivity is three times as high as that of crystalline metal. Therefore, the amorphous magnetic material is the one which is favorable to a high-frequency magnetic core material. B-H curve having very small rectangular ratio is provided and superior AC magnetic characteristics can be obtained at a high-frequency region above sevel 10kHz by annealing the material under the condition mentioned above.
