Abstract

PURPOSE:To arbitrarily set the adjustment of a pulse generating interval, by adding a forced magnetic flux reset circuit to a pulse transformer. CONSTITUTION:An L, C transient oscillating phenomenon takes place by turning on a thyristor 14 with a gate pulse. A charge of a power supply capacitor 13 charges up a capacitive load 19 via a pulse transformer PT to generate a pulse- like voltage between terminals. Since the transient oscillatory current passes through zero with an L, C resonance frequency and is inverted, the thyristor 14 is reverse-biased and naturally distinguished. The generation interval of a pulse voltage is controlled with the control of a trigger interval of the thyristor 14. Since the magnetic flux of a pulse transformer PT is surely reset at turning- off of a trigger interval of the thyristor 14 with a forced magnetic flux reset circuit 17, the interval of trigger can be set arbitrarily.
