PURPOSE:To prevent uneven coat of an adhesive from appearing rough on the surface of a sleeve plate by bonding a sleeve plate comprising a thin film-shaped metal multi-layer on the outer surface of a printing roll through a soft adhesive layer below a specified hardness. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve plate S comprising a thin film-shaped metal multi-layer make a plate having a concave cell for gravure printing is securely bonded on the outer surface of a printing roll R through an adhesive layer with a soft chaacteristic below 60 deg. in the JIS A hardness. The adhesive is preferably of a hot melt type. For example, ideal is a hot melt type adhesive composed of a stylene butadiene rubber 40%, rodin 30% and wax 30% with a softing point of 60 deg.C, a JIS A hardness of 25 deg.C, and 90 deg. peeling strength between Ni and Cr of 670/cm range.
