Abstract
PURPOSE:To generate a convection in a broad range, by arranging a cylinder into a deep water layer, lifting water sucked through the lower part of the cylinder while mixing bubbles into the water, separating the mixture into air and a liquid at the upper part of the cylinder, and discharging the liquid sidewards. CONSTITUTION:When pressurized air is fed through an air-feed hose 6 into an air chamber 4, fine bubbles rise through the small holes of a partition plate 3. With the ascending flow of the bubbles, water is sucked up through the lower end of an inflow pipe 7, and flows upwards with the bubbles inside a cylinder 1. In this case, the bubbles are fine, so that oxygen in the bubbles are dissolved into the water. The rising air-liquid mixture collides against a baffle plate 12 and flows sidewards shown by the arrow 24. Separated bubbles are adhered onto the lower surface of a conic cover 10, and discharged through an exhaust pipe 11 outside the water surface The water flowing sidewards is fluidized at a position near the upper surface of a deep water layer for a while as shown the arrow 26, then sinks, and circulates as shown by the arrows 27, 28.
