Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily remove jammed papers, by enabling to save a gathering machine so that a copying paper discharge outlet of a main body can be opened and supporting the gathering machine with the main body at the combination. CONSTITUTION:A cover 4 of a copying machine 1 freely rotates toward the arrow A by taking a fulcrum 5 as a center to remove jammed papers. In the cover 4, a paper discharge roller 7 is given and papers after copy are carried to upper and lower guides 10 and 11 of a sorter 2. A paper 6 detected with a microswitch 14 is delivered on a tray 15 of a containing section 13. Support members 20 and 22 are fitted to a frame of the copying machine 1 with a screw 21, rotary shafts 23 and 24 are fitted with bearings 25 and 26 of the sorter 2, and the sorter 2 is loaded freely rotatably. If paper choke takes place in the copying machine 1, the paper is removed by turning around the rotary shafts 23 and 24 by 90 deg..
