Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate deviation of the plate thickness of an electromagnetic steel plate after coating by the thickness of a coating agent by differentiating rubber hardnesses of a pair of main rubber rollers of a varnish coating apparatus for coating the electromagnetic steel plate corresponding to deviation of the plate thickness of a plate material to be coated.
CONSTITUTION: A varnish is coated on an electromagnetic steel plate by passing said electromagnetic steel plate 1 between main rubber rollers 20, 21 but, because rubber hardnesses of the main rubber rollers 20, 21 are differed in each parts corresponding to deviation of the plate thickness of said steel plate 1, surface pressure is generated on the surface of the steel plate 1 in each parts of the rubber rollers 20, 21 corresponding to the plate thickness of the steel plate 1. Therefore, in the both end parts 22, 23 of the rubber rollers 20, 21 where rubber hardness is low, surface pressure is made low and the varnish is thickly coated on both end parts 2, 3 of the steel plate 1 and, in the central parts 24 of the rubber rollers 20, 21 where rubber hardness in high, surface pressure is made high and the varnish is thinly coated on the central part 4 of the steel plate 1. By this mechanism, when steel plates 1 after coating are stacked, electromagnetic steel plate stack without deviation of stacked plate thickness is formed.
