Abstract

PURPOSE:To feed a bottle from a conveyer to a bottle holder by thrusting out and retaining a rotatable member comprising a feed finger to a rotating member at a fixed position of its rotation. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus is adapted to feed bottles B one by one from a conveyer 9 to a holder 10a of bottle carrier of a bottle washing machine. A feed finger 8 is supported on a shaft 7 which is supported on a rotary arm 5 of a shaft 3. Gears mounted on the shafts 3, 7 engage each other to move the finger 8 in such a manner that the leading end thereof draws a locus indicated in a chain line J, which causes the bottle B to glide along a guiding member 16 and fed into the holder 10a. Thus, since the apparatus is simply constructed, and reliably operated, troubles are decreased.
