Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve stable control at missing of signals, by detecting a minimum reversing interval of a playback information signal over longer period than a specified unit time and controlling the rotating speed of a disc so that the minimum reversing interval can be made equal to the specified value. CONSTITUTION:A playback PCM signal is shaped into a pulse in synchronizing with an inverting edge with an exclusive OR gate 2, and applied to a shift register 3 as the reset pulse and to sampling gates 4, 5 as gate pulses respectively. Clock pulses in about 20 times the data transmission frequency are applied to the shift register 3 from an input terminal 6, the 20th and 21st outputs are compared at a gate 7, and the output of the gates 4, 5 is reset with the sample pulse every unit time P2 applied to an input terminal 19. The content immediately before to be reset is connected to an operation circuit consisting of gates 12, 13, the minimum inverting interval in the unit time P2 is detected and the rotating speed of the disc is controlled.
