Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of pop noise when a signal is switched, by making the DC level of a detected output stable and enabling the direct coupling with the next stage, through the comparison of the detected output with a reference voltage and the feedback it to a detection circuit. CONSTITUTION:A carrier component of an AM input signal is reproduced with a phase locked loop 11. An AM input signal phase-shifted by 90 deg. with a phase shifter 12 and said carrier component are multiplied at a multiplier 13 for the product of the both and the result is introduced to an output terminal of the multiplier 13 as a synchronizing signal. Said synchronizing detection signal is compared with a reference voltage at a comparator 15, and the difference is fed back in a main body of the multiplier 13 through a low pass filter 17. The DC level fluctuation of the synchronizing detection signal is decreased to 1/gain of the comparator 14.
