Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an adhesive for vinyl chloride-clad steel, which can be cured with a small dose of electron beams and has excellent adhesiveness, after- processability and durability, consisting mainly of a urethane polyacrylate having a number-average MW within a specified range.
CONSTITUTION: 30W80wt% urethane polyacrylate having a number-average MW of 500W8,000, 20W69.95wt% polyester polyacrylate (e.g. polycarboxylic acid) and/or polyol polyacrylate such as ethylene glycol di(meth)acrylate, 0W50wt% free-radical-polymerizable monovinyl compd. such as methyl (meth)acrylate, and 0.05W10wt% free radical-polymerizable phosphorus-contg. compd. such as 2-acid phosphoxyethyl (meth)acrylate, are blended together to obtain the desired adhesive. This adhesive can be satisfactorily cured even with a small dose such as 3Mrad or below.
