Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy junction of ignition pulses to be applied to an electric converter, by operating both a digital arithmetic device and a digital phase detector after a redundancy and thus using the signal supplied from each phase detector for the sampling pulse of the arithmetic device. CONSTITUTION:The digital control signal generators 601-603 are constituted with a digital phase detector tht delivers the digital phase synchronous signal synchronizing with the input AC power supply voltage of an electric power converter consisting of control elements and a digital arithmetic device that delivers the digital phase control signal to control the electric power converter. A gate signal generating circuit 80 comprises a comparator that carries out a comparison between the phase synchronous signal and the phase control signal supplied from a phase detector and arithmetic device respectively and a gate logical circuit that delivers the ignition pulse to the control element of the electric power converter. A selecting circuit 71 is provided at the output side of the generators 601-603 to make the outputs of generators 601-603 redundant. Then the phase synchronous signal is used for the sampling pulse of an arithmetic device. Thus the junction can be facilitated for ignition pulses.
