Abstract

PURPOSE:To prolong the driving time interval with minimum duty that can drive a step motor corresponding to the load by periodically changing the condition for selecting the output of circuit for induction voltage detection of the step motor coil. CONSTITUTION:By taking the time of aplying a driving signal to a coil 25 as an origin, a pulse of 0,25ms width having a different position in very 1ms up to 8ms- 12ms is outputted from the switching pulse generation circuit 14 and applied to a switching pulse selection circuit 15. The switching pulse selection circuit 15 is controlled by a counter 13 that is driven by a timer 12 outputting a reverse pulse in every 30sec., and periodically changes the signal selected by the switching pulse generation circuit 14. The voltage induced in a coil 25 is detected 26 by the timing of this selected signal and an up-down counter 33 that decides the driving pulse width is controlled in the dirction reducing the driving pulse width.
