Abstract

PURPOSE:To make better the folowability of a floating platform against wind and tidal wave by a mthod in which a horizontal riser and a vertical riser are attached through an universal coupler to the upright portion of a riser base fixed to the sea bed and the floating platform is further provided through the universal coupler. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal riser 6, a vertical riser 5, and a platform 4 are orderly attached through universal couplers 13, 10, and 9 to the upright portion of a riser base 2 fixed to the sea bed 1. Also, a connector 14 is set connectedly at the upright portion 7 by means of a lifter consisting of an universal coupler 13, a fork 15 below the coupler 13, a hanging metal 16 above the fork 15, a hanging rope 17, and underwater float and sea-surface float. Thus, the platform 3 can follow varying tidal waves by the inclination of the horizontal riser 6 mainly during the vertical movement but by the inclination of the vertical riser 5 during the horizontal movement.
